A native Texan, Dr. De Pena grew up in Corpus Christi and attended the University of Texas, Austin, and the U. of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After interning at Pennsylvania's Bryn Mawr Hospital, he returned to Texas, where he served as a Neuroradiology Fellow at the U. of Texas in Houston. An active sort of guy, Dr. De Pena enjoys sailing, skiing, biking and playing tennis.
