X-rays

"I twisted my ankle in the yard, and while I didn't think it was broken,
it really hurt. I called my doctor and got into Iowa Radiology to have
it checked. To my surprise, there was a small chipped bone. The
doctor at Iowa Radiology was able to show me where and let my
doctor know. They even sent the x-ray films with me to give to the
bone specialist."

An x-ray reveals the shadows cast by the bones and other dense
material inside the human body. A short emission of x-rays is aimed
at sensitive photographic film, capturing the projection of a body's
internal shadows.

Conventional x-rays are available at Iowa
Radiology on an as needed basis. Walk-ins are
welcome Monday through Friday from 8 am –
5 pm. Contact your physician and tell him or
her that you would like to go to Iowa Radiology.
Parking right at the front door makes Iowa
Radiology a very easy and accessible solution to your x-ray needs.
